January 1: First Run 5K/10K in Lowell
For the New Year, kick off healthy habits with a First Run 5K or 10K – and don’t sweat it; you don’t have to run. There’ll be plenty of walkers there. And even better: If you participate in the 2023 First Run, you get free, unlimited bowling from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bowlero Lowell. You can also enjoy complimentary Bloody Marys, mimosas and Smuttynose Beer if you’re over 21.
January 1: SoWa Vintage Market at SoWa Boston

January 1: INNgloo Wonderland at the Inn at Hastings Park

January 1-2: Haitian Independence Day Party at Unity Sports & Cultural Club
This two-day event celebrates Haitian independence with food, music and activities. There’ll be live performances from some of Haiti’s top musicians, as well as traditional dishes like griot, djon djon rice and more.
